The 2023 Prize award ceremony: a moment of poetry filled with emotion!

On Monday 3 April 2023, the Fondation pour Genève had the pleasure of presenting its 29th prize to Jean-Pierre Greff, director of the HEAD – Geneva between 2004 and 2022, to thank him for his exceptional commitment to art in Geneva.

The ceremony was attended by many personalities who took the floor to salute his achievements: Marie Barbey-Chappuis, Mayor of Geneva, Marc Pictet, President of the Fondation pour Genève, Agnès Thurnauer, artist, François de Marignac, architect in charge of the renovation of the Plaza, Isabelle Gattiker, Director of the Cantonal Office for Culture and Sport and Hélène Sanguinetti, poet. A moving and dynamic moment, just like our winner. Congratulations to the students of the Haute école de musique de Genève and to Ivan Ilić, pianist, for giving rhythm to this ceremony.

The Fondation pour Genève warmly thanks all those involved in the organisation of this beautiful event and especially its partners, the City of Geneva, the Republic and Canton of Geneva, Le Temps and Léman Bleu.
