Jean-Pierre Greff, laureate of the Fondation pour Genève 2023 Prize !

The Fondation pour Genève has awarded its 2023 Prize to Mr. Jean-Pierre Greff, Director of the HEAD-Genève between 2004 and 2022, to thank him for his exceptional commitment to the artistic influence of Geneva on a local and international scale.

The result of the merger between the Ecole supérieure des beaux-arts and the Haute école d’arts appliqués, two Geneva institutions that are more than two hundred years old, the Haute École d’Art et de Design de Genève (HEAD-Genève) has become an international reference among European art schools under his direction. The school has also established itself as a key player in Geneva’s economic and cultural life, as demonstrated by its annual fashion show, developing numerous partnerships with companies, international organizations, and cultural institutions. With its new Campus inaugurated in July 2022, it is now firmly established in the City. A new chapter is now opening for Jean-Pierre Greff, who continues his commitment to art in all its forms in Geneva. President of the Plaza Foundation since 2019, he is actively involved in the project to revive the Plaza cinema, an emblematic Geneva landmark.

The award ceremony is open to the public and will be broadcast live on letemps.ch and on the Fondation pour Genève website. It will also be broadcast on the TV channel Léman Bleu on Monday, April 3, at 8:30 pm.
