Relive the 2022 Fondation pour Genève Prize

The 2022 Fondation pour Genève Prize was awarded on 21 March to Peter Maurer, president of the ICRC.
During the evening, several personalities took the floor to salute Peter Maurer’s commitment and the action of the ICRC. Bertrand Piccard, president of the Solar Impulse Foundation, spoke to the laureate on the theme “Conflicts and climate crisis: humanitarianism facing the challenges of the 21st century”. Ambassador Jürg Lauber, Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, spoke on behalf of the federal, cantonal and municipal authorities.
