By being part of the inner circle of donors to the Fondation pour Genève you will contribute to ...

Welcoming members of the international community – civil servants, diplomats and expatriate staff of multinational companies – by supporting the Geneva Welcome Centre (CAGI), an association founded and co-chaired by the Swiss confederation and the Republic and Canton of Geneva;

Developing networks – the International Circle of the Fondation pour Genève and the Diplomatic Club of Geneva – promoting social contact between international and local communities and professional collaborations between government, academic and private stakeholders;

Providing information from and about International Geneva by supporting various public-private partnerships, both one-off (open days, public debates and conferences, cultural events etc) and permanent, such as the Eduki Foundation which raises awareness among teachers and students about careers in international cooperation, and the UNOG’s Perception Change Project to raise awareness of the impact of the work of the United Nations on peace, international law, economic development, telecommunications, the environment and health;

The development of thinking on the framework conditions for International Geneva and its promotion. Geneva is second only to New York as the nerve centre of multilateral diplomacy and it is the operational centre of the UN international system, in particular for the implementation of the 2030 agenda Sustainable Development Goals. Our action includes publication of Cahiers de l’Observatoire, and active participation in platforms such as the Think Tank Hub, the Global Humanitarian Lab, the SDG Lab, Impact Hub Geneva and other initiatives of the United Nations, academic institutions, the Swiss Confederation and the Canton of Geneva, aimed at strengthening Geneva’s position, both in Switzerland and worldwide, as a place for exchange of ideas and the development of innovative solutions for a better world
