Diplomatic Club of Geneva

The Diplomatic Club of Geneva is the expression of International Geneva. Its aim is to bring together its members so as to encourage relations between the different governmental, academic and private stakeholders in International Geneva. It has no religious or political character.

Founded in 1976 on the initiative of young diplomats, the Diplomatic Club of Geneva has become an association under private law under the patronage of the Federal and Geneva authorities as well as the Office of the United Nations in Geneva. It is recognised as the «official club of International Geneva» and has operated since 2008 under the aegis of the Fondation pour Genève.
Today the Club, chaired by former Ambassador Raymond Loretan, has an assembly of over 800 members, composed of ambassadors, consuls, heads of international organisations and multinational companies, scientists, politicians and Geneva personalities.
